Highway mix
Glad you liked the piccies of our last live show in the last entry. Well infest festival is almost upon us and have decided to take down a compilation of 'the lost highway' featuring songs from the 3 albums. This is mostly for people who have yet to hear the music and gives them a starter if they want to listen to individual CDs. It was tricky narrowing down to 12 tracks but this should be the track listing -

1. Let it go
2. Walk through the night
3. City lies
4. Super state empire
5. Tryptych
6. One night stand
7. Paulypeptide
8. The lighthouse
9. Space Zulu
10. Anniesland lights
11. Intoxicated land
12. Scandinavia

There are some ommisions I'm not sure of such as A.D.D., Amazing Bluebird, Battling my addiction, Tavelling & Skybeat Euphoria. If you think I'm making a mistake with the track listing and songs left out above give me a shout :) thanks :)

I really do like that song too. To be honest I love the introspective tracks such as Statik icon, Battling my addiction, liquid gold al lot and perhaps I've sacrificed them for the bigger well known catchier songs here.

Problem is, I like all 3 albums as they are and wouldn't change a thing which makes it all the more difficult to select tracks from each. I've a few days to think it over till I start producing the final mix so yeah, 'Statik icon' is getting the full consideration :)

Excellent. I feel naughty but sometimes when friends are around I put on one of the CDs and watch for reactions to songs to see what they're getting from it, or look at which songs DJs (such as your wonderful self) are playing, current music on LJ entries...that sort of thing as it's always interesting to see which songs people like :)

I originally had A.D.D on the list but shall go back to think again haha! :)

I also have to say that I really like travelling too...it reminds me of happy times going to different cities for nights out in a coach..up the near the back with my walkman on and a bottle of coke laced with vodka :) Scary but strangely affecting :)

	aww, yeah, its a good way to find out what people think :) i soo think A.D.D and travelling should be on there, though if i suggested all my favourites youd have allmost all 3 albums on one cd lol ;) travelling is really lovely, just like the lighthouse. they both make me smile and are just...we....lovely! :) xx (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Have included A.D.D and travelling on the final list :) It's lovely people like yourself which makes making music so worthwhile :)

	Thank you Deta :) It's a good starter I think and always willing to accommodate faves songs :) There are quite a number I feel bad about leaving off but at the end of the day it's just a sampler mix for peeps to get tuned in and not a full release or anything :) Paulx (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ahh, the fashion show...eek was a long time ago now but have vague recollections (I think).
