Last nights show
Without a shadow of a doubt that was the best gig the lost highway has ever played. We were playing at Moshulu in Aberdeen and the sound system was fantastik as we took the volume right up. So much improvisation too and I just loved shouting down the microphone with delay echoing all around the big venue.

You could feel the bass rumbling and the vocals cutting through the noise & I gave up singing the songs conventially & MC'd it most of time such was the high on stage. Decided to go for a wander during 'Walk through the night' so I could see through the smoke which was fun & waved my Aberdeen football top around, what a high. Next stop is writing the new album which has a million great ideas to back it up, happy days indeed :)

Was ace!!!

The night was great, in fact the whole day was fab. The promotors reserved a table for us at the basement bar for a meal which was nice after we finished our set. We then sorta liased between the basement bar and dressing rooms for the rest of the night.

there was a a trad goth night on in the Mosulu but we didn't fancy that, I felt a bit sorry for the DJ at that though who was ultra cool.

It was excellent, just wished I had taken more CDS with me as they went very quickly. You always know you have done well when the sound man asks you for a CD and then says he is going to spin the music and promote us all he could.

The sound guy was brilliant & an Aberdeen fan too, hehe! ;0

Yay, it was fab. Not the biggest crowd and I think the promoters lost a bit of money but they went out of their way to make sure we had our own dressing rooms, fed us and paid us.

I had an inkling there wouldn't be a massive crowd as I had seen the headlining band 'Ultraviolence' a few times before in this country and they aren't crowd pullers but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

The venue was huuuuuge, I might have missheard but I think it was 1000 capacity.

Thanks Pamela :)

Just wish I could turn back the clock and do it all over again... the response was fantastik and I'm just kicking myself that I didn't have more CDs ready to give to peeps but yeah, made some new fans and met loads of really really nice people.

Aberdeen was so welcoming and friendly, can't wait to go back :)

Well, I was telling anyone that was interested about the website, so I'm sure they'll get to hear your music somehow =) They know they can download stuff or get in touch for a cd. =)

Someday :)

I will jump off the stage and lift you up and twirl you around ;)

I'm toying with the idea of releasing a live version of 'Scandinavia'...we have a perfect digital CD recording of a show from 11 months ago and that track highlights some of the energy of the shows :)

Party on Lissa

Hey there :)

You are right, we will have to arrange another Glasgow show sometime although I'm not sure whether it will be after the new CD is finished coinciding with all the promotional rush surrounding a new release :)

I keep getting asked by peeps to play Glasgow soon & don't want to leave it too long as Glasgow shows are brilliant to play :)

Hope you are well,

Paulx
